Softball Squad of 2022 to Play in Roff Tournament Aug. 25-27

Madill’s softball team is preparing to play in the Roff tournament Aug. 25-27. The just finished playing in the Tishomingo tournament where they picked up three consecutive wins. The club defeated Marietta, Ardmore and the Durant JV squad before falling twice Saturday. They meet Cyril at 5 p.m. on Thursday. A win advances them to play at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. A loss forces a game at 12:30 p.m. Friday. The Lady ‘Cats are led by head coach Jared Hayes. Hayes was previously an assistant baseball coach at Duncan. The Duncan team won the OSSAA Class 5A state title in the spring of 2022.
