The Madill Wildcats start the regular season for 2022 on Saturday at 8 a.m. in Marietta. The group is led by head coach Cale Eidson and assistant coaches Brenda McHatton and Kyle Callison. They will seek to replace the departure of all-state performer Isabella Sanchez and college signee Joslyn Stumblingbear. Sanchez is now running at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Stumblingbear signed with William Woods, a college in Missouri. Madill has 16 total team state championships in school history, nine of those have been added in cross country. The Lady ‘Cats were state runners-up as recently as 2019 and the boys earned third that same season.
