Madill Finishes Second in Atoka Tourney with Championship Loss to Broken Bow; Two 'Cats All-Tourney

The Madill boys basketball team finished second in the Wampus Cat Classic in Atoka Saturday night with a 44-31 loss to Broken Bow in the championship game.

Madill was held scoreless in the opening frame. However, they climbed back within 14-11 by the halftime break. Broken Bow hit key free throws down the stretch of the contest for victory.

RJ Morris and Ethan Wilkerson were named to the all-tourney team.

Madill has homecoming Jan. 24 before welcoming Atoka Jan. 28 for an afternoon game next Saturday in the Madill Event Center.
