Madill Basketball in Regional Tournament; Streaming Expected from Tuttle

The Madill basketball teams have advanced to the regional tournament. The boys are now 20-3 on the year having claimed the Lake Country Conference regular season championship by virtue of a perfect record in LCC play. It is the second LCC championship in the tenure of head coach Brett Weiberg. The boys won the district playoff championship with a 57-44 win over Plainview Saturday.

The Lady Wildcats have played well down the stretch of the regular season even though it hasn’t netted victories. The loss to Plainview Saturday has put the Lady ‘Cats in a must-win senario the rest of the season.

The girls play Cache in the consolation bracket at Tuttle on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. The boys meet No. 10 Tuttle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday in the winners’ bracket.
