Madill Softball Team Season Halted with Playoff Losses in Weatherford Wednesday

Madill’s softball team defeated Ardmore 6-5 Monday to wrap the regular season. Laila Pickens delivered the RBI double for what proved to be the winning run in the top of the seventh inning. Click to Watch the Madill-Ardmore game on demand

They begin the playoffs this week in the regional tournament. They face Weatherford at noon Wednesday (Sept. 27) in Weatherford. If they win, they play the Marlow-McLoud winner at 6 p.m. If they lose, Madill plays the Marlow-McLoud loser at 4 p.m. It’s a double-elimination tournament. Weatherford is 24-4 on the year. McLoud is 19-12 and Marlow is 7-15 this season. Click for Regional Bracket
