Madill Wins Key District Game on Road Thursday; Watch on Demand

Madill’s football team held the Tigers from a comeback bid late on Thursday to collect its’ first win of the season. More importantly it was a 27-21 district win on the road against Ft. Gibson.

Eli Vinson put Madill on the board first with his 31-yard TD run. Uziel Flores booted two first-half field goals to push Madill in front 13-0 at the half. Harlem Holmes didn’t even allow fans to return to their seats before his 75-yard TD scamper on the first play from scrimmage in the second half. Vinson found Miguel Fajardo with a 5-yard TD pass.
