Madill Boys Take MWC Title, Wilkerson Sets Tourney Mark; Girls Finish Second Saturday

Madill’s Ethan Wilkerson chipped in 24 points in a 50-33 victory for the Wildcats against Ardmore in the championship game of the Madill Winter Classic Saturday. Wilkerson eclipsed the boys scoring total record for the tournament. His new mark is 82. The record was previously held by Demarius Henderson of Boswell in 2004. Wilkerson was named most valuable player for the tournament and Brylan James was named to the all-tourney team.

The Madill Lady ‘Cats fell 61-37 to Purcell. E’Niyah Holmes was named to the all-tournament team.
