Basketball Teams Host Plainview in Last Game of Semester Friday, Stream on @madillwildcat Youtube

Madill’s varsity basketball teams welcome Plainview for the last game of the semester Friday (Dec. 15) in the Madill Event Center. The varsity girls game begins at 6:30 p.m. with the boys to conclude the evening.

E’Niyah Holmes was named to the Madill Winter Classic all-tournament team as the Lady Wildcats made the championship game for the first time since 2012.

Ethan Wilkerson earned most valuable player honors for the boys division while setting a new tournament scoring record 82 points. It eclipsed the former record of 79 points back in 2004. Brylan James also was named to the all-tourney team. Jason Wilkerson received the Carol Stafford Memorial Coaches Award for the boys.

Senior Ethan Wilkerson is six blocks shy of 300 in his high school career and just needs 22 rebounds for 1000. He could reach scoring 2000 points by the end of this season.
