Soccer Boys Win in Comeback on PKs to Make Playoffs; Girls Lose on PKs; See Track Results

The Madill soccer boys team completed a second-half comeback on penalty kicks to punch a ticket to the playoffs at Clinton April 30. Izeal Flores booted a goal at the 17-minute mark to cut the deficit to 2-1 against Altus in the second half. Misael Trevino kicked the equalizer with nine minutes left in the second half. Goalie Miguel Fajardo’s goal capped the win on penalty kicks. The girls lost on penalty kicks to Altus wrapping the regular season.

Madill boys soccer got a 5-1 victory over Cache Friday night. The girls lost to the Lady Bulldogs on the road.

The baseball team split wins with Plainview Friday. They won game one, 9-7. They lost the second game 7-2.
