Soccer Boys Win Wednesday to Remain Undefeated in District Play

Madill’s boys soccer team let no doubt Wednesday in a 6-0 win over Ada at Blake Smiley Stadium. The Wildcats got two goals each from Dylan Ortiz and Rodrigo Villegas. One Villegas goal kick traveled 64 yards in the air and found the net above the Ada goalie. Ortiz put Madill up 1-0 with 36:45 left in the first half. That’s essentially all the ‘Cats needed to tally the triumph. Uziel Flores and Fransisco Perez added a goal apiece. Miguel Fajardo recorded the shutout in goal for Madill. Madill built a 5-0 advantage by halftime. The ‘Cats are 6-0 in district play. The regular season will conclude on Friday at Newcastle. The winner of that match will be the district champion.
