Madill Drops Softball Doubleheader to Marlow Saturday Afternoon

The Madill softball lost twice to Marlow Saturday afternoon on Tom Reynolds Field. Madill fell 15-0 in game 1 and 10-4 in game two. 

In the seond contest, Madill came back in the top of the third innng to plate three runs in that frame for the 3-1 lead. However, Marlow would bounce back to score five runs in the bottom half of that same frame. Marlow added another four runs in the fifth and sixth inning combined for the victory. Lauren Campbell went 2-for-2 from the plate in game two for the Lady ‘Cats. Ireland Groeber and Maryn Mancini added two hits apiece in that game. Laila Pickens drove in two runs. Zeplyn Thomas, Brooklyn Washington, Andie Wallace and Dahlia Marris each had a hit. Peyton Arnold went six innings in the circle and struck out one.
