Madill Student Council Blood Drive Draws 44 Units Wednesday

The Madill High School student council blood drive netted 44 units Wednesday processed by the Oklahoma Blood Institute. Those units will save 132 lives.

According to OBI account manager Michelle McGuire, Madill High School brought in 40 donors that contributed to the total amount Oct. 5.

“MHS did fabulous yesterday getting all the donors to come in and donate,” McGuire said. “We are grateful to the school and the students for their support and ensuring that we have a healthy blood supply.”

Donors received refreshments and a shirt.

Molly Raley is the MHS student council sponsor.

One can always donate blood another later time.
