Madill Speech to Perform Play Oct. 29 While Remembering Beard

The Madill High School speech team will present ‘Cafe Murder’ by Tom Hartswick at 6 p.m. on Oct. 29 in the Wildcat Den on the high school campus. 

Tickets will be $25 each. The ticket includes a steak dinner with dessert. This will benefit the Madill speech department and the Madill Rotary Club Scholarship Fund.

The performance will honor the memory of the late Herschel Beard. Beard was a member of the Madill community for decades. He graduated MHS in 1968. He was the president of the Madill band during his days on campus. Beard served in numerous community organizations throughout his life. He passed away in the summer of 2022 on June 18.
