A busy weekend for Madill students is upon us. The cross country teams run at the state meet at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Edmond Santa Fe High School. OSSAA will stream the meet through pay-per-view on the NFHS Network Click Here to Watch State XC Meet on OSSAA NFHS Network pay-per-view

The football team plays Hilldale at 7 p.m. Friday at Blake Smiley Stadium. It serves as senior night for football, cheer, cross country and band. Members of the softball team were honored at a ceremony earlier this season. The football team, cheer squad and cross country teams will be recognized at 6:30 p.m. with band members acknowledge at half. Madill’s event center will be showcased in an open house from 5:30-7 p.m. Friday.

The speech team will present ‘Cafe Murder’ at 6 p.m. on Saturday in the Wildcat Den. This will benefit Madill’s Rotary Club scholarship fund to honor the late Herschel Beard. Tickets are $25 for steak dinner with dessert.

Choir members will have round one of all-state choir auditions in Ada Saturday after the music festival in Durant Thursday.
