Five of our Ag Mechanics students traveled to Plainview, Texas to compete in the Western Equipment AgTech Invitational mechanics contest. We’re proud of all of these students for stepping out of their comfort zone and participating in a very challenging competition.
Trace Crook walked away with high honors, placing 5th in the electrical diagnostic practicums, as well as 5th overall out of over 185 students from Oklahoma and Texas! For his efforts he won $7500 in scholarship to the John Deere Mechanics Institute and over $1500 in tools and gear!
The students who competed today were Holden McGahey, Kelton Ford, Tilor Stewart, Tyce Pruitt, and Trace Crook, congratulations for a job well done!
