The Madill football team found out the Class 4A No. 2 Tuttle Tigers were legitimate. The ‘Cats lost 41-0 to move to 0-2 in district play Friday night at Bill Hinkle Field.
Tuttle began with a four-yard touchdown pass from Carson Berryhill to Trevino at the 9:42 mark of the first quarter to lead 7-0 after a kick by Bryce Legg. The Tigers’ Bryce Truelove scored on a 27-yard run with 1:14 to play in the opening stanza. Truelove added a second TD on a 31-yard run with 10:19 to go in the first half. Parker Ross collected a pass from Berryhill that spanned 30 yards for the score at the 2:18 mark of the second quarter. The score stood 27-0 at halftime with the Tigers enjoying the advantage. Vasquez scored on a three-yard run to stretch the Tigers’ edge to 33-0 with 5:02 left in the third. Polson later ran 36 yards for a TD to cap the scoring for Tuttle with 1:35 showing in the third period. The Tigers connected on a two-point pass.
