Madill Drops Hoop Games to Ada Tuesday; Watch Games on Demand

The Madill varsity basketball team hosted the Ada Cougars Tuesday. Bright spots appeared throughout the night for the ‘Cats and Lady ‘Cats. However, Ada took both wins in the doubleheader. The girls lost 72-23 and the boys fell 58-47.

The Madill girls held an an early lead in the first quarter. But, Ada took the 15-6 lead by the end of the frame. Madill fell behind 36-10 by half. 

Madill girls individual scoring: Kristen Chapa 8, Maria Flores 2, Ximena Gomez 8, Lala Flores 2, Maritsa Mendez 1, Mariana Mendez 2.

The Wildcats ran to a 13-9 lead by the end of the first. Madill was outscored 14-5 in the second frame. The ‘Cats saw themselves with a 39-23 deficit as the third period closed. Then, Madill was able to make a run with shots from the perimeter with shots from Diego Flores and Miguel Duran. The Cougars held on to the advantage and finished the game with the 11-point victory.
