Lady 'Cats Drop Regional Consolation Semifinal at Bethel Friday, Season Ends; Watch Game on Demand

The Madill basketball girls lost the regional consolation semifinal to Bethel 44-27 on Friday night to end the season. 

Madill trailed 24-13 at the half. Bethel charged out to an 8-0 advantage by the end of the first stanza. Madill edged Bethel 9-7 in the third frame. The Lady ‘Cats had a late offensive surge to close within 39-27 with 1:10 left in the contest.

Kristen Chapa had a team-leading 17 points on the night. Feshmen Jayden Weiberg and Abbie Lambertsen netted three points each. Ximena Gomez and Mariana Mendez had two points apiece in the effort.
