Madill Track Boys Second, Girls Fourth at Regional Saturday; Watch on Demand; View Complete Results

The Madill track team played host to the OSSAA Class 3A-4A regional at Blake Smiley Stadium Saturday. The boys were the runners up overall and the girls finished fourth for the day. Several have advanced to the state meet May 3-4 in Catoosa. There is a possibilty more will qualify pending the results of other regionals across Oklahoma.

Valeria Calderon won the girls 3200-meter run in the time of 12:36.7. The boys 4x800-meter relay ran to gold in a time of 8:27.45. Cross country individual champ Miguel Duran won tne top spot in the boys 800-meter run by posting a 2:04.37. Duran added to his gold medal collection by claiming the 1600-meter run in 4:43.29.
