Softball Club Loses Two in Chickasha Monday

The Madill Lady ‘Cats fell twice to Chickasha on the road Monday night. Madill lost 13-8 and 18-0.

Madill did not give in during the first game despite trailing 9-1 after the first frame and battled back to score two runs in the third, four runs in the fifth and a run in the seventh. Emilie Johnson, Krislyn Anderson, Cheyenne Lansdale, Jaeda Townsend and McKenzie Reed were all 2-for-4 from the dish in game one. Mia Beason and Abbey Tiernan were each 2-for-3 at the plate. Johnson pushed across two runs in the effort. Reed suffered the pitching setback. However, she struck out four.

Ximena Gomez had a hit in the second game of the day for Madill. Maryn Mancini and Peyton Arnold pitched in game two for the Lady ‘Cats. 

Madill hosts Byng tomorrow at 5 p.m. for two games
