Wildcat Weekend: Football Scrimmage Friday; Softball Tourney Games Aug. 23 Canceled;

School is in session and activities are in high gear.

The varsity softball team competes in the Plainview Invitational Aug. 23-24. Games in the Plainview Invitational Friday have been canceled.

The football team has a scrimmage at Durant Friday (Aug. 23). The freshmen start at 6 p.m. with the varsity to follow. Click to View Football Preview Posted on KTEN-TV

The football picture day is Saturday in the Wildcat Den. The high school is slated for 8 a.m., the cheerleaders go at 9 a.m., eighth grade photos are at 9:30 a.m. and the seventh grade photos are scheduled for 10 a.m.

The cross country teams will have pictures made on Saturday in the Wildcat Cage. High school girls begin at 11 a.m. and the high school boys go at 11:30 a.m. The junior high teams will follow.

The junior high softball team lost to Turner at the Marietta Festival Thursday.
