Two Madill XC Runners Earn Honors for Athletic Performance

Madill cross country runner Valeria Calderon has been named to the All-Ardmoreite team of 2019. Calderon finished fourth overall as an individual at the Class 4A state meet in Shawnee Oct. 26. Calderon was also the individual runner up  in the regional meet in Waurika Oct. 19. The Madill girls were state runners up and regional champs in the 2019 campaign.

Miguel Duran has been named Ardmoreite male athlete of the week and selected for the boys All-Ardmoreite squad. Duran finished fourth as an individual at the Class 4A state meet in Shawnee last Saturday. He was the regional champion in Waurika Oct. 19. The Madill boys earned third at the state meet and were regional champs.
