Madill Teams Win Saturday in Classic, Four Awarded; Watch Complete Tourney on Demand

The Madill boys held off a last-second opportunity by Ardmore’s junior varsity squad 41-40 on Saturday night at the Winter Classic. The Lady ‘Cats captured a 50-43 win against Pilot Point.

Kristen Chapa had 21 points for the Lady Wildcats and Jayden Weiberg tossed in 17 in the victory.

Miguel Duran collected 13 points for the boys and Ezekiel Fuentes chipped in eight to help defeat the Tigers.

Jayden Weiberg, Miguel Duran and Ezekiel Fuentes were named to the all-tournament team and Madill boys coach Brett Weiberg earned the Carol Stafford coaches award for helping guide his team in three victories.

Madill is on the road for the remainder of the semester in basketball. They face Kingston Dec. 10.
