Senior Wyatt Gray slid on the baseline to the lane, caught an interior bounce pass from Ezekiel Fuentes and banked in the game-winning bucket with .7 seconds left in overtime to seal a 61-59 win against Pauls Valley for the Madill boys basketball team Thursday afternoon in Newcastle. However, the girls basketball team lost 46-29 to Pauls Valley and was elimated from the playoffs.

Madill then outscored the Panthers 11-9 in the extra frame of the must-win game.
The girls battled but were unable to keep pace with the Panthers. They faced a 23-12 deficit at halftime. They finished with an overall 10-15 record for the season.
