Wildcats Walk Away with Win Against Ardmore Soccer Club, Lady 'Cats Lose in Last Second; Watch Games

Fransisco Perez booted two goals for the Wildcats to help Madill walk away 3-1 victors in a soccer match against Ardmore Friday at Blake Smiley Stadium. The Lady ‘Cats literally lost 2-1 as Ardmore kicked a goal as time expired.

In the boys contest, Perez put Madill on top with his goal at the 4:46 mark in the first half. His second score of the night came with 2:34 left in the first half. Ulysses Camacho had turned away a Tigers penalty kick attempt earlier in the first half. 

Diego Ibarra connected on a goal with 16:26 left in the match. Ardmore got on the board with 7:03 left to play.

An Ardmore goal counted as the horn sounded to end the game with the Tigers prevailing in the girls match. The match went scoreless until 31 minutes remained in the game as the Lady Tigers scored first. Then, Madill’s Cielo Gomez kicked a goal with 26:44 to go to even the match 1-all.

Madill plays at Durant March 10.
