Approved: Speer Heads Up Madill Football Squad

The Madill Board of Education approved the hiring Chad Speer as the football head coach in a special meeting Thursday night. He arrives to take over the program after having been at Durant. He also served as the offensive coordinator for Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

He is expected to arrive at Madill High School after spring break.

The position became available in February after Todd Vargas left after two seasons to accept the head coaching position in Durant.
