Softball Team Drops District Contests Tuesday; Watch Games on Demand

The Madill Lady ‘Cats suffered two losses in Byng Tuesday night in district play. They fell 14-2 in game one and 21-3 in game two.

Madill took a 3-1 lead in the first inning of game two. Peyton Arnold drove in two runs and Jaeda Townsend picked up the other RBI in the contest. Cheyenne Lansdale, Emilie Johnson and senior Abbey Tiernan each had one hit. Arnold fanned three batters in game two.

Johnson went 3-for-3 at the plate in the first game of the day and collected two RBI. Maryn Mancini struck out one Pirate in the game from the circle.
