The Madill softball team produced runs at a prolific pace Monday to nail down a 17-3 win at Marietta. That was coupled with the defense keeping the Lady Indians from scoring a single run in the opening four innings.
Senior Abbey Tiernan went 3-for-5 from the dish and collected two RBI. Peyton Arnold was 3-for-4 with three RBI. Ximena Gomez was 3-for-3 and scored three runs. Freshman catcher Dez Kerley was 3-for-4.
Emilie Johnson had one hit and an RBI. Maeghan Polster recorded two hits.
Jaeda Townsend drove in three.
Krislyn Anderson had two hits in the contest.
Maryn Mancini picked up the victory in the circle and posted six strikeouts against Marietta.
