Madill Defeats Wilson on Diamond Monday, Watch on Demand; Rain Washes Out Kingston Contest Sept. 1

The Madill softball team scored 10 runs combined in the last two innings against Wilson to fly away from the Eagles and win 12-5 on Monday at Tom Reynolds Field.

Maeghan Polster singled to plate both Brayleigh Thompson and Cheyanne Lansdale to push Madill’s lead to 11-5 in the bottom of the sixth frame. Emilie Johnson’s hit scored Polster for the final run of the game.

Senior Abbey Tiernan was 3-for-5 from the plate. Peyton Arnold went 3-for-4 and scored two runs. Lansdale and Polster each went 2-for-3 from the dish.

Mancini was essential in the circle by striking out 10 Eagles.

The Madill-Kingston contest Sept. 1 has been canceled.
