Military Appreciation Night Planned for Football Game Friday

The Madill football program will present a military appreciation night for the Madill-Durant football game Friday at Blake Smiley Stadium.

Those that served in any branch of the military are encouraged to attend that evening. They will be acknowledged for their service just prior to kickoff.

Veteran and retired educator Al Hoppers will serve as an honorary captain for the Wildcats during the coin toss.

The Madill Fire Department will bring its American Flag. Several representatives of the armed forces will have booths set up that evening.

The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 4.
