Madill XC Teams Repeat Appearance in Top Ten This Week

The Madill cross country teams are still in the top 10 in the latest poll published by OHSTrack. The girls are ranked No. 8 in Class 4A coming off the pre-state meet Saturday at Edmond Santa Fe. The boys team currently sits at No. 9 following the performance at pre-state.

Miguel Duran, Isabel Sanchez and Valeria Calderon are listed among the top individual performers in Class 4A. Sanchez earned third place overall at pre-state Saturday in a time of 12:37.68 and Calderon finished fourth with a time of 12:37.99. Duran was 23^rd in the boys division with his time of 18:13.42. The teams do not run again until Oct. 10 at Waurika.
