The Madill softball team suffered an 8-1 loss to the Ardmore Tigers on Monday to wrap the regular season.
The Lady ‘Cats fell behind 3-0 after the first frame, but scored in the second inning. Madill posted five hits. One each came from the bat of Emilie Johnson, Abbey Tiernan, Dez Kerley, Peyton Arnold and Jaeda Townsend. Johnson picked up the RBI.
Arnold struck out two Tigers from the circle on Monday.
Ardmore plated a run in the third, two in the fourth, and two in the fifth frame to close the contest.
The Lady Wildcats will play the bi-district playoffs at Newcastle at on Thursday (Oct. 1). It is a best-of -three series.
