Madill Loses to Kingston; Wilson Recognized by Air Force; Watch Game on Demand

The Madill Wildcats cut the lead in half at 28-14 with 52 seconds left in the second quarter with Kendall Robertson’s three-yard run and Rodrigo Villegas’ extra point. That came on the heels of Wildcats’ defensive end River Shaw’s blocking of a punt from Kingston.

However, that would be all the scoring Madill would do in the balance of the contest in a 49-14 loss to the Redskins.

Madill looked sharp on offense early in the first half. Briskly moving the ball downfield through the air. After Kingston had taken a 7-0 advantage, Stephen Sisco caught a nine-yard touchdown pass from Robertson as he wrestled the ball away from a Kingston defender with 2:15 to go in the first frame. The score was tied 7-all.

Kingston took the momentum in the third quarter as Jase Hayes scored on a 12-yard run to put the ‘Skins up 35-14. The kickoff was fumbled by Madill and Cole Morgan took it to the end zone from two yards away with 9:29 remaining in the third.

Madill falls to 2-7 on the year. They face Little Axe Nov. 6.

Madill’s Aaron Wilson was named Air Force player of the week prior to the game
