Wildcat Weekend: Football Club Playing Last Game in 2020 at Little Axe Friday; Link to Watch

The Madill football club will play its last game of 2020 on Friday night at Little Axe. The Indians are 0-8 on the season and have only scored 19 points the entire year. Little Axe has been shut out five times this year. Their first game against Lexington was canceled.

Madill will be looking to conclude the year with its third victory to equal 2019’s final mark. The ‘Cats come into Friday’s contest with a win at Marietta and Dickson.

The Wildcats have played in one of the toughest districts in the state. Three teams are ranked in the Associated Press high school top 10 for Class 3A. Those squads are Kingston, Lone Grove and Sulphur.

Although the OSSAA has made a provision for by which all football teams are eligible for the playoffs, Madill will end the football year with the regular season finale tomorrow night.
