'Cats Win Big at Little Axe; Watch on Demand

The Madill football squad had its best game on offense Friday with a 56-12 victory over Little Axe. The Wildcats charged out of the gate and scored 27 points before Little Axe dented the scoreboard with 1:01 left in the second quarter. The ‘Cats went on to add an additional 29 points to wrap up the third win of the year on the road.

Kendall Robertson had two rushing touchdowns in the first half as did tailback Holden McGahey. Robertson connected with sophomore receiver RJ Morris for a TD pass with 2:56 remaining in the second frame to push Madill’s advantage to 27-0. 

Stephen Sisco joined the scoring in the second half by catching a 31-yard pass and a one-yard pass from Robertson. Mason Coles took a pass 40 yards into the end zone for Madill to close out the scoring in the final frame.

Madill will opt out of the 2020 OSSAA playoffs.

The Wildcats wrap the season with a 3-7 record overall and two of the wins came from district play.
