Wildcat Weekend: State Wrestling, Regional Basketball, Soccer Preseason, Livestock Show Starts

There is a myriad of activities this weekend.

The girls state wrestling tournament is Feb. 25 in Oklahoma City. Brayleigh Thompson represents the Lady ‘Cats. Wrestle-in matches begin at 10:30 a.m. Every single match will be streaming live on NFHS/OSSAA pay-per view Click Here. 

Brayleigh Thompson lost her match Thursday morning to Brooklyn Maggard of Skiatook.

The boys state wrestling tournament is Feb. 26-27 in Oklahoma City. Griff Williams respresents the Wildcats. All matches will stream live on NFHS/OSSAA pay-per-view Click Here Class 4A wrestles Friday (Feb. 26).

The Madill basketball team scored a 54-41 win over Stigler Thursday to advance to play at 8 p.m. on Friday.

The girls had the season end Thursday afternoon with a 48-33 loss to Ada.

The Marshall County Junior Livestock Show is this weekend. Exhibitors will hope to earn a spot in the premium sale Saturday night. Reaching the premium sale allows the student to receive monetary reimbursement for the cost of raising and showing an animal.

The soccer teams have a preseason tournament in Noble on Saturday.
