The Madill soccer teams started the 2021 season about as good as a fan would want. The girls built a 4-0 lead and eventually claimed the 4-2 win over Atoka. The boys constructed a 6-0 advantage by halftime and coasted to a 10-0 goal-rule victory against the Wampuscats.
Senior Cielo Gomez celebrated her birthday by kicking half of the Lady Wildcats’ goals Tuesday night. Mercedes Stumblingbear and Samara Sanchez added a goal each in the win.
The ‘Cats charged out quick and scored a goal on the first possession. Dilan Ortiz and Diego Ibarra each booted two goals in the first half alone. Zeke Fuentes and freshman Rey Gomez kicked a goal each before the first half concluded.
The baseball team fell 22-3 to the Ada Cougars on Tuesday afternoon.
