Soccer Boys Double Cache in Opening Round Win in Playoffs; Boys Golf Wraps Year In Regional Monday

The boys soccer team outlasted the weather and Cache to produce an opening round 6-3 playoff win against the Bulldogs Monday at Blake Smiley Stadium. The victory advances the ‘Cats to the quarterfinals Thursday. Madill built a 2-0 edge with a goal from Yovanny Robles and Rodrigo Villegas before the match was delayed at the 5:22 mark of the first half. The Wildcats reached down deep and came up with the victory. Cache cut it to a 3-2 deficit before Fransisco Perez netted a goal from a lengthy distance to make it a 4-2 advantage.
