'Cats Lose Close Contest to Panthers

Madill was unable to get the first down on a field goal attempt with 10 seconds left in the game and fell 10-7 to the Pauls Valley Panthers on Thursday.

Pauls Valley began the scoring with a field goal in the first frame to lead 3-0. The Panthers capitalized on an interception by throwing a touchdown pass to stretch the lead to 10-0.

Yovanny Robles caught a 4-yard TD pass from Ty Rushing with 21 seconds remaining in the first half. Jimena Guevara added the extra point and it was 10-7.
