Wildcat Week of Thanksgiving: Scrimmages, Preseason Tourney on Tap for Basketball, Wrestling

Madill Schools will be out next week for Thanksgiving. However, Madill winter sports continue preseason activities in preparation for the regular season beginning in December. The girls basketball team will practice at 10 a.m. Nov. 22. Then, they will leave at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 23) for a super scrimmage in McAlester. The girls practice again on Sunday (Nov. 28) at 2 p.m.

The boys basketball club heads for a scrimmage at Stillwater Monday and will scrimmage at Durant on Wednesday (Nov. 24). A practice is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and then an open gym time on Sunday.

The wrestling team has practice from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 22-23. Then there will be a preseason open tournament in Marlow Nov. 24,
