Wrestling Takes on Tecumseh Thursday; Basketball Teams Destined for Dickson Friday; Streams Planned

The Madill wrestling team is slated for a dual tonight (Jan.6) at 6 p.m. in Tecumseh against the Savages. The matches are expected to be streaming on Madill’s Livestream click here. The varsity matches follow the junior high matches at 7 p.m.

The Madill High School basketball teams begin 2022 where they ended 2021. They will play at Dickson on Friday (Jan. 7) night. The girls play at 6:30 p.m. with the boys contest tipping off at 8 p.m. The games are expected to be streaming on Dickson Comets TV Click Here. It is a rescheduled game from Dec. 14. The boys won the Comet Holiday Tournament in December. The girls lost in the third-place game to end the semester.

The wrestling team will go to the Pauls Valley tournament Friday and Saturday to compete for individual titles.

There will be no Madill-Sulphur junior high basketball games tonight (Jan. 6).
