The Madill boys basketball team left no doubt in a 36-18 drubbing of Dickson Friday. However, the Lady ‘Cats lost 50-43 on the road .
The Wildcats scored the first two points of the contest and never looked back in the 18-point victory. The ‘Cats led 6-3 at the end of the first quarter and 17-7 at halftime. Nick Northcutt was a constant in patroling the point. That continued to give Madill a decided advantage. Many reserves saw action in the fourth quarter.
The Lady ‘Cats trailed 15-8 by the end of the first frame. Dickson took the 26-24 lead into the locker room at halftime. The Lady Comets limited Madill to five points in the third stanza.
