Madill student-athletes competed in a myriad of arenas this last weekend.

Three Madill athletes placed at the powerlifting meet at Plainview Friday. Anthon Rios earned third place in the heavyweight division with a total of 1170 pounds. Holden McGahey finished fourth in the 145-pound class with his total of 835 and Osvaldo Ariciaga lifted a total of 825 pounds for fifth place in the 145-pound category.
The team this season is coached by Zach Patterson.

The basketball teams both won on Saturday against Atoka. The girls won 41-32 and the boys won 59-45 for 12 victories in a row since Dec. 16.
