Robertson Signs to Join Brother on Southern Nazarene Gridiron Next Fall in Bethany

Madill football senior Kendall Robertson made his commitment official today. The multi-sport athlete for the ‘Cats will be playing football for Southern Nazarene University in Bethany. He joins his brother Asa Robertson on the Crimson Storm of the Great American Conference. 

“I really like the coaches and orgainization up there (SNU),” Kendall Robertson said.

“It will be exciting,” Robertson said about playing on the same team in college with his brother. “It will be a lot of fun.” 

“SNU is getting a great athlete in Kendall Robertson, but as great of an athlete as Kendall is, he is an even better person,” Madill football head coach Chad Speer said. “He works extremely hard, is a great leader and has the highest character. I couldn’t be more happy for Kendall to continue his career at the next level at SNU. He has an extremely bright future ahead of him in whatever he chooses to do in life!”

Robertson said he plans to study physical therapy at SNU.

Robertson’s accolades include all-state honorable mention, district offensive player of the year and KXII-TV A+ Athlete. As the quarterback for the Wildcats in 2021, Robertson helped lead Madill to its’ first winning season since 2016.
