I came to Madill Public Schools in 2000. This will be my 22^nd year in education. This year will mark my 19^th year with the Madill School District.  I have taught 5^th -7^th grades.  I currently teach 6^th grade Social Studies.

Prior to teaching at Madill, I taught 5^th grade Social Studies at Rad Ware Elementary in Woodbine, Texas with the Callisburg Independent School District.

I have one daughter, Madilyn Michaela Cook. She is a 2016 graduate of Madill High School.  She is currently a Junior at the University of Oklahoma, majoring in Creative Media Production. My parents are Ray and Elizabeth McGahey. I have two siblings, Joyce Coleman and Alvin McGahey.  I have 3 neices, Emily Burns, Lauren McGahey, Molly Coleman and 1 nephew, Holden McGahey.  All of which attended or attends Madill Public Schools.
