I was born in Denison, Texas at Texoma Medical Center. I received my high school diploma when I graduated from Sherman High School. I graduated from Grayson College in 2014 with an Associate of Arts and Teaching degree serving grades pre-k through 6. In 2016, I graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor in Teaching degree as a generalist serving grades 1 through 8, all subjects. I have also earned an Educational Leadership Master Of Education degree from East Central University.
I have a high school diploma from Sherman High School.
I have an Associate of Arts and Teaching degree from Grayson College that I received in 2014. I am a studied member of the Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Delta Kappa, and Cum Laude Grayson College Honor Sororities.
I am a studied member of the Alpha Chi, Cum Laude, and Southeatsern Alumni Honor Sororities. I graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2016.
I am also an Pi Lambada Theta honor society member and I received the Greatest Academic Achievement Possible in 2021.
Some of the training sessions I have went to include Structured Language Basics (Phonics) training, active shooter training, HMH mathematics training, and CPR response training.
I started teaching at Madill Elementary School as a third grade teacher on August 23, 2018.
I am new to the Madill Independent School District.
Currently, I am teaching 3rd grade mathematics, reading, science, social studies, and writing.
In 2017, I was the Atoka Middle and High School Art teacher.
I taught Art 1, Art 2, Art 3, and Art 4.
Before this position, I worked for Sherman Independent School District.
I have two children. My daughter Tyra is in the 11th grade at Madill High School and my son TyRon is in the 7th grade at Madill Middle School. We do not have any pets.
My personal interests include continuing my education, reading, and spending time with my family.
